Urban Institute Associate Melanie Lombard recently ran a final project workshop in Cape Town, collaborating with South African and Colombian scholars and activists as part of her British Academy Urban crisis project.

涔 (Yi) means 鈥渁ppropriateness鈥 or 鈥渞ighteousness,鈥 referring to what is morally right and fitting. It conveys the virtue of doing what is just, acting with integrity, and upholding moral principles, regardless of personal gain.

Earlier in the year Catherine visited the Reggio Emilia region of Italy to learn about innovative education initiatives which centre around children's agency and sensory experiences, with a significant focus on food.

Dr Serena Tagliacozzo is a researcher at the Italian National Research Council and is being hosted at the UI for the month of July 2024 under the direction of Professor Vanesa Cast谩n Broto as a PI of the ERC funded project Lo-Act.
