I was sitting outside visiting my sister at her house. There is a large pond or mini lake that is about three houses down from her, it is peaceful there.
I had noticed that there were a couple of people fishing off to the side, so I asked her if she knew whether there was natural fish in there, or if maybe they stocked it every year.
She gave me a grimace and said, I do not like that pond.” I looked at her and asked why. She then replied, because I don’t! I said, But why? She said, I just had a dream that there was a dead body in there, so I do not like it! I turned all the way around and then said, It was just a dream! She said, I woke up not feeling right about it, I don’t like it anymore! She flicked her cigarette and stood up to go inside; I followed her.
A week and a half later she called me all kinds of upset. I had just gotten back from the dentist and my upper lip felt like it had been stretched out over my head. She kept repeating, I was right, I was right!
I kind of got my response out well enough to ask her what happened. She said that there were cops in her complex, ambulances, and that they were taping off the whole area.
Apparently a dead bloated body had floating up to the top of the pond. She was so upset, she just kept saying, “I told you so! It wasn’t JUST a dream! {Eewww and people were fishing in it!}
She was in a state of panic and I was very confused. It turns out that this young adult was missing for almost two weeks. They found alcohol in his system, and he had only been in this country for eighteen months.
There is nothing I can say about this. Sometimes our dreams are not JUST a dream!
I believe the sixth sense runs stronger in some families, and mine happens to be one of them.

Is your sister bugging out. I don’t know if I would be able to stay there. I mean I know once a person has passed away they are gone but because she sensed it …… I dont know it is just freaky!!!

Um I wonder if the spirit of that person was trying to tell your sister something. Did she get in any messages with the dream?

Gross! How the hell did the body get in there! Sorry but that is too much. I would be out of there. Was he killed.

Ami- It is funny you said you would not be able to stay there. She was in the middle of moving before this even happened, so I think that gave her the peace of mind. Otherwise, I think she would not be in a good place mentally.
Randy- I don’t think her dream came in with any messages; not that I know of.
Eric- It is gross, and no the authorities do not believe he was murdered. They found high levels of alcohol in his blood.
Yes guys, it was freaky!
Be well!

I believe that dreams have more meaning then people give them credit for. Not being able to understand them or really see the meaning right off the bat is probably what deters attention away from the dream.

Hello Jessica!
You are right.. there are so many meanings, and levels within those meanings. They could be Psychological, Emotional, Sexual, Spiritual, or all of the above!
Such words of wisdom
People want answers and they want them fast. This could be part of the reason why people just dream and not pay attention.
Thanks for your thoughts, they are valued!

Hi Lucid,
I was told once a while ago that you should write down your dreams in a book and keep a record of them and see if they turn out to be true. Like other people have said, there are dreams… and then we do have the ones that poeple are trying to give us a message. Sometimes we just have a hard time discerning them.

Hi Phyllis! It is always a good thing to write down your dreams. Keeping a dream journal is a good reference to look back at, especailly if you are someone that has prophetic dreams.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Wow, freaky dreams. I always think twice about my dreams, I have had more than one dream that was not just a dream…. and others that freaked me out because sometimes I can’t tell the difference. Dreams are most definitely powerful.

HI Loretta! Yes dreams are powerful. I have had some dreams that felt so real, I couldn’t shake the feelings I woke up with. (Both good & bad) There is a whole world of dreams that we just don’t understand yet. It really is amazing!
Have a nice day!

We always find exactly what we expect in dreams. Our state of mind, our level of love and fear are present in symbolic form. What we choose to run from in waking life will always follow us into other dimensions.
