I was sitting outside visiting my sister at her house. There is a large pond or mini lake that is about three houses down from her, it is peaceful there.

I had noticed that there were a couple of people fishing off to the side, so I asked her if she knew whether there was natural fish in there, or if maybe they stocked it every year.

She gave me a grimace and said, I do not like that pond.” I looked at her and asked why. She then replied, because I don’t! I said, But why? She said, I just had a dream that there was a dead body in there, so I do not like it! I turned all the way around and then said, It was just a dream! She said, I woke up not feeling right about it, I don’t like it anymore! She flicked her cigarette and stood up to go inside; I followed her.

A week and a half later she called me all kinds of upset. I had just gotten back from the dentist and my upper lip felt like it had been stretched out over my head. She kept repeating, I was right, I was right!

I kind of got my response out well enough to ask her what happened. She said that there were cops in her complex, ambulances, and that they were taping off the whole area.

Apparently a dead bloated body had floating up to the top of the pond. She was so upset, she just kept saying, “I told you so! It wasn’t JUST a dream! {Eewww and people were fishing in it!}

She was in a state of panic and I was very confused. It turns out that this young adult was missing for almost two weeks. They found alcohol in his system, and he had only been in this country for eighteen months.

There is nothing I can say about this. Sometimes our dreams are not JUST a dream!

I believe the sixth sense runs stronger in some families, and mine happens to be one of them.
